Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic restaurant team at Montano's Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on guest preferences and server availability.
Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, restaurant policies, and special events.
Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, providing accurate wait times to guests.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
Utilize the Aloha POS system for reservations and table management.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and seating arrangements.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
