The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll help lead our team in creating an unforgettable experience. You’ll keep the store running smoothly day-to-day, guide and inspire staff, and pitch in wherever needed—from mentoring associates to scooping ice cream. What You’ll Do

Leadership & Supervision: Coach, motivate, and schedule team members; provide on-the-spot training and feedback to keep everyone engaged and growing.
Customer Experience: Model outstanding service—greeting guests, solving problems, and ensuring every visit feels magical.
Sales & Merchandising: Oversee merchandising and inventory standards, create eye-catching displays, and monitor stock levels.
Food Service Oversight: Ensure food counter operations meet Massachusetts health and safety guidelines; train associates in proper prep and sanitation.
Operations & Cash Handling: Open and close the store, balance registers, and maintain accurate POS records.
Event Support: Help plan and run in-store events, demos, and promotions that delight kids and adults alike.

What You Bring

Proven retail supervisory or management experience (at least 1–2 years preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A cheerful, welcoming personality and love of toys, games, or creative play.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
